Cranberry Sauce

 

Cranberry Sauce

2 cups fresh cranberries

1 cup shredded apple

1 Tb orange zest

½ cup fresh orange juice

1½ tsp fresh ginger, minced

2-4 Tb sugar

 

Combine ingredients in a small saucepan and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until cranberries are soft and sauce is at your desired consistency (dissolved cornstarch can be added if sauce isn't thick enough). Chill before serving.
